AWESOME!!

Those of us who have big dogs, truly big dogs, know how hard it is to find a truly big pop-up crate. Dang near impossible.

My dog is 35 in at the shoulder, and this crate is so big that it makes him look like one of those cut out very poorly sized golden retrievers that they usually show in an 18-in crate on amazon. This thing is awesome. I would give it 10 stars, but that's not a option lol

I will say, being visually impaired, it was difficult to figure out where to put the poles. It would be very nice if the elastic were even gray or maybe the khaki color of the zipper. A lot of us don't have good visual acuity, and it was hard to find. And of course, the instructions are written, so... That does a visually impaired person no good. But that's nobody's fault, it's very common, I just wish there had been a different way to get the instructions so that I could have understood it quicker. But, now that I know how it works, 2 minutes and it's up and we're running.

In fact, he just got his bath today, and as soon as he was done - he didn't go to the other two very comfortable dog beds in the house or my queen size bed that he's allowed on. He went directly to his house and laid down and took a nap. So I would say, dog approved.

I finally have a crate that I will be able to manage, I'm also an incomplete quadriplegic, by myself at dog shows. That has always been a big problem. It will fold right up into my luggage, doesn't weigh but a very very few pounds, and even with my malfunctioning arms and hands and not so awesome eyes, I'm very capable of managing it myself.

*This is absolutely not a crate for a dog that is not very very well crate trained and tries to get out. They will destroy it. Not because it's poorly made. But it's a soft pop-up crate made completely of mesh and nice fabric. This is not going to contain a dog that wants out. And I believe that's where I've seen some of the reviews on Amazon and Walmart being so negative. They placed an animal in a crate that was not designed for that animal in that crate, and they destroyed it. We've had no problems with it whatsoever with my service dog.

Dear Raina,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful and detailed feedback on our XXL pets tent! We’re absolutely thrilled to hear how much you and your dog love this product.

Your review highlights exactly why we created this tent—to provide a spacious, comfortable, and portable solution for pet owners with truly big dogs. It’s heartwarming to know that your 35-inch-tall dog fits comfortably in the tent and even prefers it over his other beds! That’s a true testament to the comfort and quality of the design.

We also deeply appreciate your candid observations about the setup process and the challenges faced as a visually impaired user. Your suggestion to improve the visibility of the elastic (e.g., using gray or khaki coloring) is incredibly valuable, and we’ll be sure to pass this feedback along to our design team. Additionally, your point about the need for more accessible instructions (e.g., video or audio guides) is something we’ll take into consideration moving forward.

It’s inspiring to hear how this product has made such a meaningful difference in your life, especially given the unique challenges you face as an incomplete quadriplegic. Knowing that this tent will help you manage your service dog at dog shows independently is truly rewarding—it aligns perfectly with our mission to create practical, lightweight, and easy-to-use gear for everyone.

Lastly, thank you for emphasizing the importance of proper crate training when using this product. Your insight about the soft mesh design and its intended use is spot-on and will undoubtedly help other customers make informed decisions.

We’re so grateful for your support and for sharing your experience with us. If there’s anything else we can assist you with in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Thank you again for your kind words and constructive feedback—your 10-star rating means the world to us!

Warm regards,
KingCamp Team

It's huge

This is very well made but it's huge!! Way bigger that I thought it would be.
I have a German shepherd and this could easily fit 3-4 inside. Too big for my purposes, would be great to have a smaller version (36-42 long and ~31 tall)
