I bought this for my grandson when he goes on sleepovers
Better then expected, bought with a coupon so got a deal on it, grandson loves having his own sleeping bag.
Extremely light weight for a sleeping bag. We bought these specifically for backpacking. We already had other heavier bags for regular camping. When backpacking, every ounce counts. Before taking these out for multiple day hikes we used them for one overnight camp out when the overnight temperature got down to mid forties. The bags were plenty warm.
However, there's not much padding so if you're going to be on rough ground, you will need a pad of some kind. We used lightweight air mattresses like you would use in a pool.
I would not recommend these for camping when you have a vehicle unless you also have a cot but would recommend to any backpacker as long as temperatures are 40's or above. They also work great as a kids'sleepover bag.
I love that the sleeping bag is light weight, comfy with soft material on the inside and slick on the outside. Folds up easily.
