Q: How do the lumbar support strap and armrest adjustment work?

A: You can adjust the lumbar support belt by tightening or loosening it for greater comfort. You can also change the height of the armrest by adjusting the position of the armrest buckle

Q: Are these sturdy, good quality?

A: Definitely excellent quality, my husband is about 260lbs and he's very comfortable sitting in it. We bought one again.

Disclaimer: we DID return the chair but only because we decided to go for the bleacher chair instead of a stand-alone chair.

The chairs lumbar adjustment was amazing. Super comfy. Same with the height of the chair, it provided great neck and head support. Absolutely would have kept it if we didn’t decide we’d sit in the bleachers vs the sidelines.
