I wanted a bell tent for a decade before purchasing one. I researched fabric weight, durability, and companies to purchase from. I wanted a tent that could handle any weather. Early New England springs and late Vermont fall for weeks at a time. I bought this tent. A khan C 500. It has more than exceeded my expectations. Wind and snow that send airstream campers home but has me warm and comfortable next to my woodstove inside my canvas oasis.. One night I built the fire waaaay too hot and singed the tents stove flue attachment. I contacted King Camp’s customer service. YEARS after the purchase date. They were helpful and kind and let me purchase has the replacement part. One easy Velcro piece later and my tent is as good as new. Not only is this tent the best I found but they stand behind their product.
It takes some knowledge to set up…plenty of “how to” videos and I can pitch this tent by myself in 40 mins. Tent, cots, woodstove all in place myself as a 45 year old woman.
If you want a tent that will last. One that handles what Mother Nature throws without sending you home early. If you’ve been dreaming of a canvas tent…I highly recommend this one!
