No lumbar support! Otherwise, excellent! I got a camping pillow to make it more comfortable, but some wouldn’t care for the extra baggage.
All other chairs I tried for backpacking were so close to the ground and almost impossible for a tall person to get out of, especially after the knees get sore. This chair is easy to put together and take apart, but the shining star of this chair is its comfort. The height of the seat, the angle of the back and seat are all adjusted for optimal comfort. Wide enough everywhere for a hefty fella. The arms are a sweet bonus, just right, and the cup holder is handy. Nice folded size for packing, only a few ounces more than the ones for acrobatic midgets, who like to sit about 4 inches off the ground. Comfort is even better than conventional camp chairs, but this folds small, is light and VERY durable, sturdy, and affordable. I highly recommend this well made chair for all sizes of people who enjoy comfort.
